Publication Ethics

Authorship Policy

Authorship: Authorship of the paper should be limited to those who significantly contributed to the paper, laboratory data and generation of the reported study.

Originality: An author should not publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research. Maximum limit of similar content as a whole is 19% while individual source is less than 4%.

Plagiarism: Reproducing text from other sources without citing references or producing many research articles (Salami slicing) with the same content is unethical and unacceptable. In review papers, authors should acknowledge the others research work by citing their publication references.

Duplication: Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to different research journals is also not acceptable.

Corrections: All authors have an obligation to cooperate with journal editors promptly to point out correction of errors in their published articles.

Peer Review Policy: The practice of peer review is to ensure that only scholarly scientific work is published. IJEEG’s policy is the double-blind reviewing, where both referees and authors remain anonymous throughout the publication process. Our Editorial and Review board members play a vital role in maintaining the high standard of reviewing the manuscripts.

Referee Reports: Referees are asked to evaluate the manuscripts originality, methodology and citing of previous work and adherence to journal’s ethical guidelines.

Final Report: The final decision to accept (after minor or major revision) or reject the manuscript will be sent to the author along with referees’ comments. Moreover, Editors have the discretion of seeking additional reviews, if required.

Editorial and Review Board: Members are chosen for their expertise in key areas related to the journal from all over the world. Editors of International Journal of Economic and Environmental Geology (IJEEG) should ensure that journal’s content is from a wide range of international authors. The list of Editorial and Review Board is timely updated by inviting experts to join the IJEEG Editorial Board.

Chief Editor: The Chief Editor International Journal of Economic and Environmental Geology has sole responsibility for the decision-making process and the overall quality of the journal and its content.
