Preparation of Manuscript
Submission Guidelines
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check the following items, and manuscripts may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- » The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- » The submission file is in Open Office, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- » Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- » Manuscript should be typed with 1.5 spacing and all margins should be 1.5 inch wide.
- » All headings/subheadings should be bold using a 12-point font for main headings, 11-point for subheadings, and 10 for the text and references.
- » The captions of figures and tables should be in font 9 (non-bold).
- » All illustrations, figures, and tables should be placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- » The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author’s Guidelines.
Word Processing Software
Authors should submit the article in MS Word format. To remove errors in the text, authors are advised to run spell-check and grammar-check functions of the word processor.
Formatting of Text
Manuscript should be typed with 1.5 spacing and all margins should be at least 1.5 inch wide. Essential elements of manuscript are in the order: Title page, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement, References, Figures, and Tables with captions.
- » Headings (abstract to references) should be in 12-point bold font size.
- » Subheadings in 11-point bold font size.
- » Sub-subheadings in 10-point bold font size.
- » Title: A short running title is required in bold 13-point font size and sentence case.
- » Author Names: Complete names of authors in non-bold 11-point font size, and sentence case.
- » Affiliations: Provide full affiliation addresses, including country name, in 11-point font size, non-bold, and sentence case.
- » Corresponding Author: For correspondence purposes, please clearly specify the corresponding author's name, affiliation, and contact information, including email address, in 10-point font size without bold formatting.
- » Abstract: Abstract should be precise and in less than 300 words, briefly mentioning the aims of study, main results, and major conclusion without citing any reference.
